Before editing begins

In order to begin the editing process, the session must be paid in full.

Once 100% of the payment has been completed, your photographs will move on to the selection and editing stage.

Until the remaining balance has been paid, the images will remain pending and will not enter the editing process.

 

Selecting and editing your photographs

A very important part of my work happens after the session.

I carefully review all the images taken and select the photographs that best tell the story of that day: the gestures, the looks, the movement, the hugs, and those small moments that often happen without us even noticing.

Each selected photograph then goes through an individual editing process, always respecting Onedrop’s natural and timeless style.

 

Would you prefer to choose your own photographs?

Some families prefer to personally select the images they would like to receive, and that is also possible.

However, my recommendation is to leave the selection in my hands.

Choosing the photographs is one of the longest and most delicate parts of the entire process. It is not simply about deciding which image looks best at first glance.

Sometimes a photograph may initially look too dark, include a distracting element, or simply look unfinished, yet it can be completely transformed during the editing process.

The opposite can also happen: an image may look perfect before editing but contain a detail that technically cannot be corrected in the way we might imagine.

After many years of working with families and editing photographs, I can recognize which images have the greatest potential and which ones will work best as part of the complete story of the session.

For that reason, whenever possible, I recommend trusting me with this part of the process as well.

 

If you would like to take part in the selection: 

In that case, you will receive a private proofing gallery containing the photographs that have already gone through a first general edit.

These images will be sent in JPEG format and low resolution, solely for the purpose of making your selection. They are not yet the final edited photographs and may still show differences in light, color, cropping, or small details that will be refined later.

To distinguish them from the finished photographs, the proofing images may include a discreet Onedrop watermark.

Once you have made your selection, the chosen photographs will go through their final individual edit and will then be delivered in both high resolution and web resolution, according to the session option you booked.

 

Final delivery of your photographs

Once the editing process is complete, you will receive a link to a private online gallery.

Inside the gallery, you will find your photographs in:

High resolution, ideal for saving, printing, and creating enlargements.

Web resolution, optimized for sharing easily via WhatsApp, Instagram, social media, or email.

The number of edited photographs delivered will depend on the session option you selected beforehand.

 

Important: downloading your gallery

Your gallery will remain available for 7 days from the date of delivery.

During that time, it is important to download and safely store all of your photographs.

Once the 7-day period has passed, the gallery will be automatically deleted and the images will no longer be available for download.

I recommend keeping a copy in more than one place — for example, on your computer and in cloud storage — so your photographs remain safely preserved.
